Description

1-2 years of experience in Women's & Children's areas: $3,000

2+ years of experience in Women's & Children's areas: $7,500

The RN Float - Women & Children's reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

This role is a clinically competent, registered, professional nurse who prescribes, delegates and coordinates nursing care to the acutely ill patient through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively interacts with patient, significant others, and other health team members, while maintaining ANA standards of professional nursing practice.
  • Ability to float to multiple assigned areas.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Three or more years of current acute nursing experience within past 5 years in 3 areas in Women and Children's Services.
    • Candidates for Women and Children's Services with experience in 2 areas will be considered but, must be willing to train in a third area.
  • Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program.
  • BSN.
  • Must have PALS and/or NRP certification based on which areas they are floating.
  • LIC RN
  • CERT PALS
  • CERT BLS
  • CERT NRP
