The salary range for this position is $48.98 - $66.12 (Hourly Rate)

Placement within the salary range is dependent on several factors such as relevant work experience and internal equity. For positions represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range is guided by the rules outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.

Description

Northwestern Medicine has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist to work in our outpatient department, supporting the Lurie clinics. There are numerous pediatric specialties including but not limited to: Adolescent Bariatrics, Endocrine, Oncology, GI, Neurology and Psychiatry 

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8A-4P

  • no nights/weekends/holidays/on-call

The Clinical Psychologist role reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics, Corporate Compliance Program and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides direct clinical service including psychological evaluations, consultations, and treatment services to children with feeding, developmental, and behavioral problems.
  • Provides specialized diagnostic services for infants and toddlers.
  • Provides clinical input for program development and evaluation.
  • Provides care in a fashion that assures, embraces, and communicates the pledge, values, and policies of NM.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Knowledge of community programs and resources pertaining to support groups, mental health services, etc.
  • Previous successful interactive experience as a member of a interdisciplinary treatment team
  • Current Collaborative Practice Agreement with an active member of the medical staff at CDH
  • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
  • Must be computer comfortable and/or proficient
  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology and an active, valid, Illinois license
  • LCPC
  • BLS within 30 days of hire
  • Minimum of one (1) year of post doc experience

Preferred:

  • Two years experience in an intensive treatment setting with supervised experience in individual and family counseling
  • Understanding of and training in case management
