The salary range for this position is $52.00 - $56.00 (Hourly Rate).

Placement within the salary range is dependent on several factors such as relevant work experience and internal equity. For positions represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range is guided by the rules outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.

Description

The Operating Room Registered Nursereflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

The Operating Room Registered Nurse is a clinically competent, registered, professional nurse who prescribes, delegates and coordinates nursing care to the surgical patient through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation. This role effectively interacts with patient, significant others, and other health team members, while maintaining ANA and AORN standards of professional nursing practice.

Qualifications

Required:

• RN License
• BLS certification
• One year of experience in peri-operative nursing within the past 3 years
• Must be enrolled in a BSN program within 1 year of hire
• ACLS within 90 days of hire

Preferred:

• BSN strongly preferred upon hire
• PALS
• CNOR
