Description

The Social Worker Psychreflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs comprehensive/timely biopsychosocial assessments.
  • Renders an evidence-based opinion regarding the patient's mental status, competency, prospective dangerousness, diagnosis, and need for psychiatric treatment.
  • Matches appropriate disposition and level of care determination to the diagnosis, formulation, risk factors and patient needs as assessed.
  • Formulates and implements evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Works collaboratively with all staff on the treatment team to ensure seamless psychiatric care.
  • Performs evidence-based psychotherapy as therapist or co-therapist.
  • Provides individual patients, groups, families, and married couples, psychotherapy based on a framework of scientifically acceptable medical-psychological theory.
  • Creates specific and timely discharge/aftercare plans and utilizes community resources when indicated.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Master's degree.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (IL).
  • Zero (0) to two (2) years experience in a relevant role.
