Placement within the salary range is dependent on several factors such as relevant work experience and internal equity. For positions represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range is guided by the rules outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.

Description
The Sterile Processing Supervisor reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
The Sterile Processing Supervisor assures that the standards of operation of the department are in compliance with the standards set by regulatory agencies, such as the state Department of Health, JCAHO and others. This role acts as a liaison between Sterile Processing and the Director/Manager
Qualifications
Required:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working in sterile processing.
- Sterile Processing Certification.
- Knowledge of aseptic technique, sterilization procedures and standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of medical terminology.
- Manual dexterity and motor coordination to work with patients and equipment.
- Demonstrates the ability to use proper body mechanics in lifting, pushing, and pulling.
- Demonstrates the ability to exercise independent judgment in times of need and emergency situations.
Preferred:
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience.
- Basic computer data entry and Microsoft Word experience.
