The salary range for this position is $560,000 - $700,000 (Annually)

Description

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a fellowship trained BE/BC general Gastroenterologist to join our team in Huntley, IL, located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Our board-certified physicians evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of digestive disorders using advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques.

• Hospital based position at Northwestern Medicine Huntley Hospital
• 7 days on, 7 days off model
• Perform endoscopy generated from the emergency department and the inpatient consult service
• This position will be supported by an Advanced Practice Provider to facilitate inpatient consults and transition of care

An ideal candidate should be competent in basic upper and lower endoscopy, enteral access (PEG placement), and management of GI emergencies such as upper and lower GI bleeding, food impactions, and management of volvulus. The hospitalist will work in conjunction with 1-2 established interventional endoscopists and other NM subspecialists.
