Respiratory Care Assistant-Full-time Days

The salary range for this position is $25.74 - $34.75 (Hourly Rate).

Placement within the salary range is dependent on several factors such as relevant work experience and internal equity. For positions represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range is guided by the rules outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.

Description

The Respiratory Care Assistantreflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

The Respiratory Care Assistant will perform tasks in the Respiratory care Department to assist with efficient and judicious use of respiratory care practitioner time.  Tasks enhance health and safety of patients and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Assists in assembling patient education materials
• Sterilizes tables and laptops in respiratory care department.
• Sterilizes respiratory equipment.
• Assembles CPAP and BiPAP equipment.

Qualifications

Required

• Successful completion of Project Search Internship.

Preferred

• Time management and able to follow directions.
