The salary range for this position is $24.11 - $32.54 (Hourly Rate)

Placement within the salary range is dependent on several factors such as relevant work experience and internal equity. For positions represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range is guided by the rules outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.

Description

The Oncology Program Coordinator reflects the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Memorial, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

The Oncology Program Coordinator is responsible for participating in planning efforts and administratively supporting the Oncology Department at Northwestern Medicine West Region. This entails supporting the team via data analysis, presentation preparation, and meeting coordination. 

Responsibilities:

  • Systematically support any and all initiatives that fall within the department’s project portfolio.
  • Apply rigorous analytical skills in support of planning initiatives, such as business plans, access, patient engagement, and operational initiatives.  
  • Organize and coordinate major departmental and interdepartmental meetings, including physician meetings, executive meetings, and quality and planning meetings.
  • Assist in the creation and preparation of materials presented to executives and committees.
  • Perform higher-level administrative support to the department.
  • Other responsibilities as designated in support of departmental and organizational priorities.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Analytical skills in the areas of database manipulation and statistical analysis
  • High level of energy and enthusiasm
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to organize and think independently
  • Proven software competencies (Excel, Power Point, Access)
  • Flexible/adaptable – ability to work with diverse group of healthcare professionals
