Description

The Behavioral Health Services Manager of Community Support Programs reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

This position is responsible for behavioral health service delivery over assigned area(s) including staff selection and development, operating procedures and standards, and budgeting. The BHS Manager provides leadership and assists with development of the behavioral health service line for the health system. The BHS Manager of Community Support Programs will oversee the multidisciplinary teams below:

 

1. Community Support Team (CST) - our agency operates with one full CST team

2. Youth/Adolescent Community Support and Case Management Services

3. Adult Community Support and Case Management Services

4. Representative Payee Program

5. Supported Residential Program

6. Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Vocational Service

 

CSP services assist individuals to improve and maintain a functional capacity to meet their basic daily living skills within the least restrictive environment.

Individuals engage in skill building activities to assist them in the development of functional, interpersonal, family, coping, and community living skills that are negatively impacted by their SPMI.

Individuals have the opportunity to participate in individual and group counseling up to several days a week and learn skills for leading a more productive life. Services provided include: case management, support and advocacy, psychiatry, consumer employment services, group counseling, and individual therapy.

CSP identifies and uses recovery tools and skill building to facilitate independent living and adaptation, problem solving, and coping skill development.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Current license in behavioral healthcare field; Licensed to practice independently. 
  • Master's degree.
  • Five years of behavioral health experience.

Preferred:

  • One year of leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Operational budgeting experience 
  • Microsoft Excel experience
  • Previous experience in community mental health
