Description

The Program Manager, NM Sound Stage reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

They are experienced individual contributors. While he/she does not manage NM staff, he/she manages large projects and outside vendors. He/she works directly with senior internal clients & reports to a Program Director or Director in support of key initiatives.

They are responsible for supporting their director and other Marketing team members within team/project objectives. They are experts in their specific discipline and understand how their specific skills contribute for maximum impact. They know current technology that is relevant to the position to optimize workflow and maximize output. They have strong communication skills, judgment and can lead multi-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the existing NM Studio Production Sound Stage / Resources:
    • Organize, itemize, and maintain NM video equipment & Sound Stage.
    • Address maintenance needs for any gear needing service. Recommend rental gear when appropriate.
    • Keep an open eye on technological upgrades to make recommendations for future capital purchases.
  • Help set the strategy and process for video production standards across the system:
    • Act as the Lead Director of Photography / Cinematographer for (all) NM Creative Services video shoots.
    • Manage basic audio sound recordings for interviews and other shoots.
    • Lead high priority video production projects on behalf of the department.
    • Create a disciplined and collaborative process for all production shoots.
    • Work with cross-functional NM Marketing service line / team members to deliver key video assets.
  • Apply high level project management skills from start to finish:
    • Work with production teams to determine the best plan for video production.
    • Determine appropriate video equipment & crew count necessary to meet objectives of in-studio and field video production.
    • Direct video shoots & be willing to (when necessary) edit and finish video projects.
  • Maintain standards and training while innovating:
    • Develop and train less seasoned video specialists and interns.
    • Have the willingness to explore and learn current/cutting edge technology to deliver highest quality projects.
    • Foster / seek out new relationships with dependable outside contractors & vendors.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the company’s strategic business objectives and how they relate to the Marketing Department’s priorities and objectives.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 7-10 years additional experience in a video production / relevant field.
  • Experience managing relationships with outside vendors.

Preferred:

  • Experience in healthcare marketing, preferably in a hospital setting, and/or agency experience.
  • Experience managing direct reports/outside vendors.
  • Experience with SONY FX6 Full-frame Cinema Cameras
