Description
The Physician Services Coordinator is responsible for the administrative support of the NM Regional Medical Group Physician Services Department. These responsibilities include administrative support for the Manager of Physician Services, Physician Recruiters and Physician Liaison in a time sensitive, highly professional environment.
The Physician Services Coordinator will be responsible for the Professional Expense Reimbursement Processing, as well as administrative support of other key responsibilities of the department.
The Physician Services Coordinator will assist in the development, planning and implementation of customer service strategies to support the core objectives of NM Regional Medical Group.
Responsibilities:
Administrative support for the RMG Physician Services department including updating information for Regional Medical Group through the RMG microsite.
Maintain the RMG internal physician services onboarding spreadsheet for all new physicians and advanced practice providers.
Processing of Professional Expense Reimbursements (PERP) for physicians and advanced practice providers employed through Regional Medical Group. This includes new hire welcome email, providing new hires expense policies, processing guidelines and balance amount. Processing and tracking submitted expenses. Provide ongoing support and service to all users.
Through the NM Provider dashboard and internal RMG onboarding tools, create monthly New Provider Orientation attendee list.
Facilitate (on behalf of physician liaison) survey monkey orientation surveys for all new hires and six month follow up.
Provide all administrative support for NM Regional Medical Group New Provider Orientation including invites to presenters, attendees, facilitating all communications with stakeholders for orientation.
Facilitate and manage monthly RMG Grand Rounds. This includes outlook invite including agenda, securing presentation from speaker, facilitate live streaming of the event and subsequent posting to microsite. Also validating information with CME office to adhere to established guidelines as required for presentation.
Create new physician announcements per template. Validate content with local practice administrator and submit to RMG Chief Medical Officer for distribution. Upload to microsite.
As needed, support physician recruiter with itinerary site visits, conference room scheduling and other miscellaneous tasks associated with site visits.
Assist in RMG event planning as needed.
Other tasks as requested.
Qualifications
Required:
- Associates Degree
- Attention to detail.
- Critical thinking skills to manage tasks appropriately.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a business office with a strong emphasis on database management and customer service.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Preferred
- Ability to relate to all levels of the organization such as medical leadership and other hospital executives.
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment, preferably with direct physician contact.
- Ability to prioritize workload independently.
