The Mobile Stroke Unit Program Manager reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

This position supports Patient Care Services, the Neuroscience Service line and local communities within the CDH primary service area (PSA). The Program Manager is responsible for overall day to day operations of a Mobile Stroke Unit that will serve the CDH PSA with potential to expand to other communities. This position works collaboratively with medical, nursing and other departmental leadership to provide operational direction for this mobile service.

This role will be responsible to optimize clinical outcomes for stroke patients and operational quality, safety and financial outcomes for the service. The program manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with all national, state and local regulatory standards in collaboration with the Neurosciences Service Line Director, other quality leaders within the organization and local emergency services entities. The job also requires establishing and maintaining regulatory documents for both the ambulance operations and equipping, supplying and staffing the ambulance. In addition, the position requires consulting with vendors and suppliers. This position has 24/7 accountability for this clinical service.




  • Minimum of five years of related clinical experience with evidence of critical care experience
  • Minimum of three years of management experience
  • Master's of Nursing
  • Certified BLS
  • Certified ACLS
  • Licensed RN
  • Obtain any required driving licenses/certifications for the mobile service.
