Description

The Outpatient Behavioral Health Intake Clinician reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

This role is responsible for completing Integrated Assessment and Treatment Plans (IATPs) and IM+CANS for both new and current patients across the lifespan. The Outpatient Behavioral Health Intake Clinician coordinates care including communicating with treatment team, patient, and family, and documenting in medical record (EPIC). This role may support additional projects, perform administrative tasks, and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

  • 2 years post graduate degree required.
  • Experience working with substance abuse and mental health populations.
  • Masters Degree with LCSW, LCPC required.
  • Masters degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field.
  • Experience and training in assessment, individual, family, and group counseling.
  • Must be computer comfortable and/or proficient as much as medical records are automated.
  • LCPC, LIC LCSW.

Preferred:

  • 3-5 years in intensive treatment setting and /or mental health setting.
  • 3-5 years training.
  • Presentation skills including lectures and didactic presentations
  • CERT CADC.
