Description
The Mobile Developer, reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
The Mobile Developer will be part of a team that uses agile methodologies. Agile is a project management and product development approach that encourages cross-functional teamwork, adaptive planning, and customer involvement. The team’s goal is to develop mobile solutions, which could include designing, coding, and testing mobile applications.

- Leveraging AI, automation and rollout of advanced cyber controls that support digital transformation strategies
- Implementing advanced technologies in clinical and administrative areas

Responsibilities:
- Design, specification, implementation and testing of software in an agile development process
- Software integration and customization
- Creation of technical documentation
- Diagnosis of problems and performance analysis
Qualifications
Required:
- 2-4 years of developing and engineering applications as a full-stack and/or mobile developer
- Must have solid understanding in one of the following technology areas: Swift, Objective-C, iOS SDK, XCode or Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Android Studio
- Strong communication skills with ability to work with all levels of management
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or relevant professional experience
- Thorough understanding of Xcode IDE, and Swift
- Thorough understanding of Android development and framework
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, UIKit, Core Animation, Grand Central Dispatch, NSOperation, Background Operations, and Foundation Libraries
- Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
- Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools such as Instruments
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and Push Notifications setup and implementation
- Solid understanding of object-oriented development and MVVM design pattern
- Working experience with Agile planning and development methodologies, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
- Experience using version control tools like TFS, BitBucket/Sourcetree, or GitHub
- Experience in Test-Driven Development, Continuous Testing, Integration, and Deployment
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards a plus
- 3 years of Agile experience a plus
