Description

The Administrative Service Clerk reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

The Administrative Service Clerk will assist with various administrative and clerical duties to support International Health. Notably, this position will be responsible for printing claims, invoices, and documents from multiple sources and scanning these into respective patient records within the specified platform or uploading them into payor portals.

The Administrative Service Clerk will be responsible for the management of revenue cycle documents. This can entail both the organization, printing and scanning of such documents in support of International Health billing.

The Administrative Service Clerk may be required to perform other duties or special projects as needed and may be responsible for mail distribution as well as performing various administrative and clerical duties, including transcription and data input, which may be required to support this function. 

This individual should proactively work in conjunction with all members of the International Health Finance team to ensure revenue cycle activities are completed in a timely manner. This may include data gathering to resolve a patient's account issues, identify and minimize financial risk to the hospital and medical group, and promote accuracy and timeliness with coordinating a prompt resolution to patients’ accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Organizes paperwork for the monthly revenue cycle by gathering the necessary materials and monitoring progress.
  • Monitors and completes actions in assigned Epic work queues.
  • Documents all patient interactions in the designated platform(s).
  • Completes other duties as assigned by Director or Manager.
  • Adheres to NM, divisional, and departmental quality standards.
  • Identifies opportunities for and participates in process improvement activities.
  • Ensure all documents are sorted appropriately
  • Thorough documentation to meet department standards
