Description
The Administrative Assistant I reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
Responsibilities:
- Drafts and transcribes documents, inputs data into various systems and tracks information in various formats.
- Greets customers and appropriately responds to general inquiries.
- Maintains department schedule by coordinating calendars for department personnel, arranging meetings, conferences, teleconferences and travel.
- Maintains adequate office supplies inventory and orders as necessary.
- Maintains office equipment in good working order.
- Reads and routes correspondence and initiates and/or returns call and other forms of communication.
- Maintains, delivers and/or coordinates the delivery of documents, files and materials as required.
- Records and documents meeting discussions as requested.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Zero (0) to two (2) years experience in a relevant role.
Preferred:
- College studies and a minimum of two years of providing office services (strongly preferred).
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office software.
- High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information.
